Save Money by Using Less Water When You Shower

Water restrictions help us save our precious natural drinking water supply, but at the same time, also helps us reduce the amount of money we spend on water particularly around the house. Did you know that the majority of water usage is attributed to households? We have all been told to have short showers lasting no longer than 2 minutes in length. But what if we turned it around and said, hey, let's take our time in the shower, but turn off the water when we don't actually need to use it.

It makes sense does it not? Why have the water on in the shower running for two minutes, when you probably don't even need it for the whole two minutes? Could we not potentially cutdown the amount of water going down the drain simply by switching off the shower when you are shampooing, conditioning and soaping? That way, we have ample time to bathe properly without the clock ticking down on you.

Then when you actually need to rinse, turn on the water again, and personally, I think I end up using less than two minutes of water all up per shower doing it this way. That sounds like a win-win-win to me... save water, take your time bathing yourself and save money!
